Naming and Adoption Ceremonies in Northern Ireland and Ireland

A celebration of love, family, and belonging.

Naming and adoption ceremonies are a beautiful way to welcome a child, honour their place in your family, and celebrate the love that brought you together.

These ceremonies are gentle, meaningful, and completely shaped around your story.

A ceremony that feels like your family

Every family is different, and there is no right or wrong way to celebrate these moments.

Whether you are welcoming a newborn, celebrating adoption, blending a family, or marking a chosen family connection, I will help you create a ceremony that feels personal, inclusive, and full of heart.

What these ceremonies can include

– Naming a child or giving them their official name in ceremony
– Celebrating adoption and new family bonds
– Involving siblings, grandparents, or chosen family
– Symbolic rituals such as candles, vows, or blessings
– Personal readings, music, or stories
– A keepsake moment for your family

My role as your celebrant

I will guide you through everything, helping you shape a ceremony that feels calm, meaningful, and completely stress free.

My role is to hold space, tell your story, and create a moment that feels genuine and memorable for everyone involved.

A Little about me

I’m Caroline, a mum to two daughters and someone who was adopted myself as a toddler. Family, in all its shapes and stories, is something I understand very personally.

Alongside my work as a celebrant and wedding photographer, I’ve spent years working closely with families through important milestones, including fostering and adoption journeys. I’ve had the privilege of documenting and witnessing some of the most emotional, life changing moments in their stories.

I also volunteer as a photographer with Remember My Baby, a charity supporting families through the loss of a baby. That experience has given me a deep understanding of how important it is to hold space for both love and loss with care, sensitivity, and respect.

I understand that family is not always straightforward, and that love often looks different for everyone. That is something I hold gently in every ceremony I create.

I bring a calm, grounded presence to my work, and I’m especially comfortable supporting blended families, neurodivergent families, and those who simply want a ceremony that feels safe, inclusive, and true to them.

My role is to hold space for your story and help you celebrate it in a way that feels meaningful, personal, and deeply respectful of everything that has brought you to this moment.
